Returns Policy
This returns policy applies only to purchases made online through our website, www.tarpaulin.ie.
When you place an order on our website, you have the right to return your items within 14 days of receipt. To initiate a return, please complete and submit our return form within this period. You can enquire the return form at orders@tarpaulin.ie
If you choose to return an item, you are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping through a courier of your choice.
Order Cancellation & Return Conditions
You may cancel your order and return the goods at any time up to 14 days from the day after you receive them, provided that:
- The goods are in perfect condition and remain unopened in their original, resalable packaging.
- You ensure that the returned goods reach us in perfect condition.
You are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of the return. A full refund of the product value will be issued once the returned goods have been received and inspected at our warehouse. Refunds will be processed within 14 working days of the inspection’s completion.
If returned goods are damaged, opened, or unsuitable for resale, they will not be refunded. You will be required to collect them from our warehouse within 7 days of notification. If uncollected within this timeframe, they will be disposed of.
Exceptions & Exclusions
- Custom, bespoke, or special-order items cannot be canceled or returned once the order has been processed.
- Items purchased in a sale, promotion, clearance, or as ex-display are non-returnable beyond the 14-day cooling-off period.
Order Cancellation by Tarpaulin Warehouse Shop
We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason before processing payment and dispatch. If an order is cancelled before dispatch, any payments made will be fully refunded.
Delivery Refusals & Damaged Goods
If you refuse delivery of your order, we reserve the right to deduct return shipping costs from your refund.
Upon delivery, if the packaging is damaged, please note this while signing for receipt and contact us immediately at orders@tarpaulin.ie if the products themselves are also damaged.
Always ensure you include the original packaging when returning items.

We strongly recommend purchasing transport insurance. You are responsible for the returning items until we receive them. Therefore, keep your post office receipt and/or track and trace number for reference.
Before you proceed with the installation of the product, we would like to bring some important points to your attention:
- Installation Responsibility: Lifespan of our tarpaulins – We do not guarantee our tarps due to varying weather conditions and uses. How a tarp is fastened will help maximise its lifespan; we recommend securely fastening your cover with one of our accessories. Making sure that there is a drain off and that the tarp is not able to flap is also key in ensuring a longer lifespan. Tarpaulin Warehouse cannot be held responsible for damage caused by wear and tear, or degradation through UV after a prolonged period of use. Please also be conscious that the eyelets on a tarp can come under pressure if fastened too tight; eyelets can be reinforced if needed, through fixing additional eyelets to distribute load. Minimising friction and avoiding sharp edges is also important to maintain the integrity of your tarpaulin.
- Damages Caused by Wrong Installation: It’s essential to understand that any damages caused by incorrect installation are not covered under our warranty or return policy. We kindly request you engage a qualified professional or follow the manufacturer’s installation guidelines to avoid any potential issues.
- Product Return Policy: As part of our commitment to customer satisfaction, we gladly accept returns of products that are in their original condition and packaging. However, please be aware that if the product is damaged due to mishandling or improper installation by the customer, it will not be eligible for return or refund.
We do not accept irresponsibly or poorly packaged, used, destroyed, incomplete, or unsellable return items.
Packages sent as “Cash on Delivery” will not be accepted.
